Do you or your staff need the knowledge and skills to implement maintenance best practice at your site?
Welcome to the National Centre for Maintenance Excellence, Industry's one stop shop for advancing maintenance training, education and best practice. We help drive productivity by delivering targeted training courses and services to effectively implement maintenance excellence and reliability principles.
The training programmes have been specifically developed to provide advanced skills and knowledge about maintenance and reliability behaviours, concepts and practices via: Upskilling tradespeople with a Level 5 Diploma in Maintenance and Reliability Engineering with AUT University A new maintenance and reliability pathway for apprentices that leads to a Level 5 Diploma in Maintenance and Reliability Engineering with AUT University, plus National Certificates in Mechanical (L5) and Electrical (L4) engineering. Operator training that delivers the theoretical knowledge for maintenance best practice along with the practical skills to apply this knowledge.
MaintainNZ has developed strategic alliances with Industry Training Organisations (ITOs) and the Auckland University of Technology ( AUT University) to ensure all training courses are able to be linked to nationally recognised qualifications such AUT's Certificate, Diploma and Degree programmes, and unit standards off the NZ Qualifications Framework. MaintainNZ is a charitable trust, set up by Norske-Skog Tasman, Engineering, Printing and Manufacturing Union, Fonterra and Kawerau College.
