Industry-driven Maintenance & Reliability Apprenticeship Programme

The MaintainNZ apprentice programme has been specifically designed to meet best practice engineering principles. Industries need for highly skilled tradespeople and technicians who can apply proactive maintenance practices across all job functions is now a necessity. This is essential for industry to improve maintenance performance and meet operational objectives. Apprentices complete a mixture of off-job training at MaintainNZ complemented by on-job learning and experience, with maintenance and reliability being an overarching theme to their learning in either of the mechanical or electrical engineering disciplines. ability Engineering, and individual unit standards off the NZ Qualifications Framework.

All training and assessment is delivered by experienced, industry based maintenance practitioners. It also provides an opportunity for your employees to learn from other organisations.
Our courses are designed to be delivered off or on-site. Off-site training courses are delivered at regional centres throughout the year and are provided to minimise your costs and reduce your required course attendance numbers. On-site delivery will use practical examples from inside your organisation and focus closely on your organisational development needs.

We offer hands on training not one sided learning, our 2-3 day courses are intended to be short and sweet, giving you world-class skills you want without lengthy study that you don't. They are designed to be workplace friendly and to have little impact on employers during study.
